Day 1 Egg drop Blind Fold

What we learned after the blindfold activity. #5 is basically reference for communication

Calculations for the egg drop by Tim Elson.

heating water problem

after object was built to protect the egg, these were our predictions

this is was the final test. We discovered that the uneven parachute blew the falling object onto one side, thus making our cushion completely useless.

Day 2 beginning half of in class code + pictures

The board we recieved, the first equation= 10 an the next = approx. 2pi.

Our board, the blue equations = 10, and the orange equations equal 2pi

After checking them in matlab. The bottom has another suggestion in orange, (solution to not knowing how to use natural logs.

Classic Ideal Gas Law excersize, this time making variables in MATLAB

Conceptualizing the conversion table problem with inputs and outputs. This is the NASA Probe example that teaches us the importance of units.

Learning first algebraic fuctions. Order of operations are preserved.

Finishing basic arithmetic, and testing the other groups board equation for the second excersize. Trying to bring up command window.

Learning to create variables

learned to create
a variable from other variables. The start of H.W. also

Day 2 (final half of class)

first and second pictures are flipped. something is wrong with blogger that it wont let me fix it. sometimes it will create a copy of the first picture. All these pictures are us combining variables using the ideal gas law and drag equation
